We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on Accounts Payable, and compliance with GAAP. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

The candidate should possess an associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience to include bank reconciliations, remote check deposit, receipts administration, accounts payable, general ledger, account reconciliation. A proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other essential programs. Prior experience with accounting software programs, preferably Sage.

Candidate must have good communication skills and be organized and detail oriented. Possess the ability to meet strict deadlines and work well with others to meet the common goal.

Workforce Development Coordinator

The Alabama Road Builders Association is seeking a full-time, highly organized, and proactive individual to join our team. The ideal candidate, led by the Executive Director, will be responsible to lead statewide engagement, workforce development, marketing, and strategic outreach initiatives supporting Alabama’s heavy civil construction industry and the HEO (Heavy Equipment Operator) program, which is based on equipment simulator training. He/she will manage partnerships between contractors, school systems, educators, the Alabama Department of Education, the Alabama Community College System, the Department of Workforce, and industry stakeholders to expand workforce opportunities and strengthen member engagement.
