      EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – ALABAMA DENTAL ASSOCIATION The Alabama Dental Association has an immediate opening for a full-time Executive Assistant. This individual will provide executive and administrative support for the association’s Executive Director. The candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of executive support experience to include proven member-relations skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills , meeting planning and logistics, scheduling, record keeping and a good working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Access. Must be proficient in social media platforms. The ideal candidate will: - Display excellent time-management, multi-tasking and organizational skills - Be a detail-oriented, self-starter - Be an energetic team player and eager to tackle new projects and ideas - Have good writing, editing and proofreading skills - Be organized and detail-oriented - Exhibit sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and make decisions - Display a resourceful, can-do attitude - Thrive in a fast-paced environment - Anticipate needs of the association - Manage phone calls/ Draft, review and send communications We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.       Clinical Coordinator - Job Description Alabama Professionals Health Program (APHP) Sponsored by the Medical Association of the State of Alabama (Salary range; 70,000-up Depending on Qualifications)) Qualifications A counselor licensed and in good standing to practice in Alabama. If recovering, at least five (five) years of demonstrated sobriety. Possess knowledge and experience in working with health professionals suspected of having behavioral, mental health and substance-related disorders. Must have a thorough understanding of 12-step recovery principles. Capable of communicating and collaborating effectively with providers, referrals, ALBME and MLC members and staff, and participants both verbally and in writing. Willingness to travel around Alabama and promote early detection of troubled health professionals. Clinical Duties Assist in the investigation of alleged impairment including gathering documents and information as well as interviewing collaterals and participants. Assist in the referral of participants for evaluation and treatment and maintain contact with treatment and evaluation programs about participant progress. When appropriate, visit professionals in treatment. Participate in the aftercare planning for participants coming out of treatment and arrange for APHP agreements to be signed. When necessary, make appearances to assist APHP participants at meetings of the ALBME or MLC or other Boards. Assist in the development of programs to build rapport with participants and their families. Administrative Duties Assist in organizing the agenda for the Alabama Wellness Committee Meetings. Participate in the orientation of new committee members and volunteers who provide monitoring duties. Assist the Director w/ preparation of reports and budget. Conduct educational meetings around the state as assigned. Assist in preparing articles for publications. Coordinate TMG and Monitoring program activities Develop and maintain relationships with members of local and state alliance groups and assist in maintaining and developing their active involvement. Establish contact and develop relationships with professional colleagues in similar positions at other PHPs. Assist with clerical and secretarial duties when needed. Visit principal referents, hospitals, medical school staff, and major clinics to maintain rapport. When appropriate, provide coverage when the Director is away from the office.
